Now that I am a mother of three wonderful children, I realized it is hard to divide! Divide my time and full attention equally to my children. As for their age; 4 years old, 2 years old and three months old, they are very much in need of my time and attention.
Nathan David |
Nathan David, my eldest son, is very active, but he is so sweet. During the night before he slept, he wants me beside him, tapping his shoulder and massaging his back.
Nathanael John |
Nathanael John, my second son, who's described by many as "good boy" maybe because he is so quiet when he is with many people. But of course for me too he is "good boy" no doubt for that :-). He always wants to be hugged and heard. He will be angry whenever he talks and I don't pay him attention.
Naomi Mathia |
Because of their age gaps, I find it hard to divide my time. For now, what I do, if Naomi Mathia sleep, automatically I give my time to my boys by just simply hugging them, talking to them and listening to their childish stories. I make it sure that I always give them touch same with my husband because based on studies, children below four years old need to be touched and hugged to assure them of our love and for their sense of security.
In mathematics, 1 divided by 3 will be .033. But it should not be this way. What is right is 1 divided by 3 is equals to 100%. As far as I can, I give my 100 percent love and care to each one of them equally plus 100 percent of same love and care given by their father. So blessed that love and care are multiplied from those people surrounding us. Those people who are concerned, giving guidance and prayers to me and to my husband to be better parents.
I am praying to God to give me and my husband more strength and wisdom so that we can lead our children to the paths of righteousness.
Now I also realized the love of God to all his children. I wonder how He listens to all the prayers and supplications of His children. How He's been there to everyone who needed Him. Nevertheless, one thing is sure, the love that I have for my children cannot be compared to the love of God towards His people.
We love because he first loved us.
1 John 4:19
To sum it up, no mathematical expressions we can use to measure our love to our children. We love them because it is God who taught us first how to love and be loved. He demonstrates His love to us by giving us His son Jesus who died on the cross for our sins. Thank You dear God for Your love!
Life is beautiful,
